LINDA
FOSTER CARER
Hi, My name is Linda &I'm a foster carer with Mini Paws Animal Rescue. I have been fostering for about a year and joined Mini Paws 6 months ago.
I'm a single mum of 2 teens & we live in the upper Blue Mountains & hav just finished my apprenticeship as a chef. My expertise as a carer is with kittens, especially hand raised babies, it's a lot of hard work, but the rewards are great!
My foster babieslive in our home & are loved as if they are our own until they find their forever homes. They not only have lots of human contact & handling, but they grow up with our adult cats, Ziggy, Humphrey & Nala. This gives the kittens the confidence to go to homes where older cats already reside & it can make integration easier.
In my sort time as a carer, I have saved &rehomed 2 kittens, one hand raised from 2 weeks old & I currently have 3 hand-raised babies awaiting forever homes.

VANESSA
FOSTER CARER
Hi my name is Vanessa and I am new to Mini Paws Animal Rescue. I have been fostering and rescuing animals for over 3 years and have lived in the Upper Blue Mountains for over 5 years. My passion for abandoned animals began with a small white duck called "Ducktape" and I have never looked back. I am presently undertaking courses in companion animals, including animal psychology, nutrition and behavioural problems, so that I can better care for my animals and the animals I foster. I also have 3 young children who share in my passion and help me take care of the 30 abandoned animals that have never left. I am excited to be involved with Mini Paws Animal Rescue, there's nothing more rewarding than watching them learn, grow and find their new homes.
