MEET SALLY

My name is Sally and I am about 2-3 years old. I am a foxy x chihuahua female. I had a bad start in life and was saved by some kind people who have been looking after me. They have 3 dogs already, and I need a home where all the attention will be on me only. It would be OK if you have another small dog to be my friend, but id prefer to be an only pet if possible. I do get along with cats though.
I do need to be sometimes reminded about going outside to the toilet, but I rarely have accidents inside. I don’t really know how to sit or stay, but with some lessons, I know I will learn fast.
I need someone who is almost always home with me, and who will let me sleep inside. I eat a raw diet of kangaroo, chicken necks, and chicken frames, and I love my food. I am vaccinated, wormed, and microchipped (I do still need to be registered with your local council which is cheaper after desexing). I am just coming out of season, so I will be desexed before going to my new home, so I will be ready to go in a couple of weeks. I still have a little more weight to gain as I was very thin when I first went to my foster family. I do have a problem with my knee dislocating occasionally, and it may require surgery in the future, so this is something my new family needs to consider as its about a $700-$1000 surgery. It doesn’t often pop out of place and is easy to put back in without causing me too much pain. I am on a supplement to help with this, and a nearly full bottle will go with me to my new family, as well as my collar and lead, and my blanket, and toys.
We wants to make sure I go to a very good home, to someone who is willing to care for me for the rest of my life.I am still a little timid, but have come out of my shell a lot in the last couple of weeks.
